This is natural dried loose herbal tea from Bulgaria.
Agrimony
Agrimonia Eupatoria L.
Other names: church steeples, sticklewort
Perennial herbaceous plant, upright stem, up to 1 m high, covered with hardwoods. The individual leaflets are elongated, lanceolate, jagged. The fruit has an irregular spherical shape. It blooms in the summer from June to August.
It grows everywhere in the bushes and meadows throughout Bulgaria.
The leafy above-ground parts, collected during the flowering period, are used for medicinal purposes. The above-ground part is cut at a distance of up to 25 cm from the top down, removing the thick stems. Overblown stalks should not be collected.
Agrimony – dried stalk
Application: as an aid in gastrointestinal disorders, biliary and hepatic changes, gout, hemorrhoids, etc.
Method of preparation: 1 tablespoon of the herb is boiled for 3 minutes in 500 ml of hot water. Strain and drink in 3 equal portions the day before meals.
