Hop is a perennial, rolling, dioecious plant. Its stem is thin, hollow, rough, covered with short spikes. With them the plant attaches itself to the surrounding trees and objects. Its leaves are opposite, large, serrated, with a diameter of 5 mm, with 5 stamens gathered in rocky inflorescences.

Hops are found in the bushes, along the rivers, forests and wetlands all over Bulgaria. It is widely cultivated in many places in the country.

Attention! When harvesting hops can irritate the mucous membranes!

Application: an aid in nervous tension, insomnia, lack of appetite, stomach ache, prostate inflammation, etc.

Method of preparation: apply in the form of infusion – pour 2 teaspoons of the herb with 200ml of hot water. After the decoction is cooled down – filter and drink one coffee-cup three times a day before meals.
