Description

Squirting cucumber (Ecbalium Elaterium L.) is a perennial plant with scalloping stem and heart leaves. The fruit is elongated, the ripe-eyed seed discards the seeds under pressure.

In Bulgaria the plant is found in sandy places, along the Black Sea coast, the valley of the Struma river, the Thracian lowland, the Tundzha plain and the Eastern Rhodopes, up to +1000 m.

It has the value of a medicinal plant. The herb is used as an aid in sinusitis.

Action:

Squirting cucumber extract can be used as an aid in colds and sinusitis.

Ingredients:

Water-ethyl extract of Squirting cucumber (Ecbalium Elaterium L.)

Method of application:

1-2 drops are dropped in each nostril, 3-4 times a day.
